Skeleton page for creating new pages
ADVANTAGES
The SITE NAVIGATION part of the page offers a far easier way of navigating
around the site, and also includes a drop down menu which lists other useful UKC sites outside of the
computing domain.
The SEARCH text boxt just below the title of the page is a quick and easy way to search the pages for
relevent information. Once the search button has been pressed, the browser would go directly to the CS
search page and display the search results.
The fact that if you were to add a page to the CS pages, you would NOT need to create/edit any images
is also a major advantage in that it would speed up the process of developing the site.
NOTES
Unfortunatly, due to the company that hosts my web page, there is an ADVERT BAR at the top of each
page (including this one). Therefore, when viewing the demonstration pages, it must be assumed that the
top of the title image touches the top of the page (and not the advert).
The pages include about three lines of javascript in order to make the dropdown menu
function properly.
Also, I have tried to load the page into an older version of Netscape (as used on the
public PC's), and for some reason the background images for the tables are not displayed. I cannot as yet
find a reason for this, but I presume that it is something simple in my code that needs changing.
